Position: IT Manager for Event Technology Support
Location: St. John's

Join Ontario Convention Center as IT Manager, focusing on user support and event technology management. Optimize systems and drive excellence in IT service delivery.

As IT Manager, you will take charge of the technological framework supporting Ontario Convention Center events. Under the Director of IT’s guidance, supervise IT staff, manage user support, and oversee network and communication systems. Your leadership will establish best practices and enhance service quality for diverse technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage technological integrity for user-related requests

• Oversee network and telephony support

• Deliver technical support for in-house events

• Develop and maintain IT operating procedures

• Manage vendor agreements and relationships

Requirements:

• BS in IT or Computer Science recommended

• Minimum 5 years in IT helpdesk or similar role

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and cloud phone systems

• Proficient in wired and wireless networking designs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Lead effective IT strategies at the Ontario Convention Center, enhancing operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
