The Role

Role Description

Lead Marketing Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Webmaster and Tech Support Specialist to manage, maintain, and improve company and client websites while supporting the team with day-to-day tech needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for website administration, content updates, performance optimization, hosting and domain management, technical troubleshooting, security monitoring, and general IT support. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.

What

You'll Do Responsibilities Website Management and Maintenance
  • Manage, maintain, and regularly update Lead Marketing Inc. and client websites.
  • Build, edit, and publish website pages, landing pages, forms, blog posts, images, videos, and other digital content.
  • Administer websites using Word Press and other content management systems.
  • Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot themes, plugins, integrations, and website features.
  • Monitor website functionality and promptly resolve broken links, display issues, form errors, compatibility problems, and other technical issues.
  • Perform regular website backups, software updates, security checks, and maintenance.
  • Manage website hosting, domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, business email configurations, and related technical services.
  • Monitor and improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, usability, and overall performance.
  • Implement basic on-page and technical SEO improvements, including metadata, redirects, indexing, sitemaps, image optimization, and page-speed enhancements.
  • Connect and maintain analytics, tracking pixels, conversion tools, CRM platforms, email marketing systems, and third-party integrations.
  • Assist with website migrations, redesigns, launches, staging environments, and quality-assurance testing.
Technical Support
  • Provide first-line technical support to team members experiencing software, application, account, operating system, and connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using established procedures, vendor documentation, knowledge bases, and remote-support tools.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint, and other business applications.
  • Assist with software installation, configuration, updates, access permissions, compatibility issues, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide guidance on device settings, drivers, peripheral connections, and basic hardware-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot internet, Wi‑Fi, VPN, email, and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Communicate with users through email, chat, phone, and remote-support platforms to identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate service provider or technical specialist and follow up as required.
  • Follow company security, privacy, access-control, and data-protection procedures.
Requirements Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma, degree, certificate, or equivalent practical experience in information technology, computer science, web development, digital media, or a related field.
  • Experience managing Word Press websites or other content management systems.
  • Experience with website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, backups, migrations, and business email setup.
  • Experience troubleshooting software, applications, user accounts, and connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, website analytics, and digital marketing tools.
  • Understanding of website security, privacy, accessibility, technical SEO, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Jira or similar project-management platforms is an asset.
  • Agency experience or experience supporting multiple websites and clients is considered an asset.
