As an Auto Claims Representative III, you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of complex Auto Claims. You will contribute to our client service culture through daily interactions and by implementing innovative, client-centric solutions.
How you will create impact:- Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and settling very large and complex auto claims.
- Interpreting and applying complex regulations from various legislative requirements.
- Handling very complex files in litigation using litigation management guidelines.
- Working with clients and defense counsel on ensuring effective, timely and quality settlement of claims.
- Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
- Providing exceptional client and claimant service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.
- You have five years of claims or related business experience.
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
- You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
- You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
- You have knowledge of auto policy wordings, legislation, regulations, and legal system.
- You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
- You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
- You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
- You will travel occasionally.
- Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required during peak periods and major events.
- This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.

Salary information
Expected salary range $72,847 to $121,411
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
