THE ROLE
We’re seeking a reliable Cleaner to support ongoing full‑unit cleanouts and deep sanitization work within vacant housing units. This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable with hands‑on physical work, can handle dirty or unpleasant environments, and enjoy contributing to the restoration of safe, clean living spaces.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Shift: 8:00am–4:30pm, ongoing assignment (20–40 hrs/week)

Breaks: Scheduled as per site standards

Site Access: Various locations; instructions provided for each assignment

PPE Provided: Gloves, safety glasses, masks

Transportation:Will require your own transportation

Key Responsibilities:Remove household items, debris, and garbage from vacant housing units

Safely handle and dispose of potential biohazard materials (PPE supplied)
Perform deep cleaning and sanitizing of all rooms: ceilings, walls, floors, windows, and surfaces

Ensure units meet required cleanliness standards before turnover

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, move, and carry various items safely

Comfort working in very dirty environments, including strong smells or unpleasant conditions

Willingness to use ladders when necessary

Strong understanding of safe lifting techniques

Recommended:
Safety at Heights training/video for ladder safety

Valid Criminal Record Check required

Reliable, punctual, and prepared for physically demanding work
