Trainee Tubular Inspection

Position: Trainee for Tubular Inspection NOV
Location: Paradise

Become an Inspection Trainee at NOV in Paradise, Newfoundland, where you assist in the critical inspection and repair of tubular goods. This job offers hands-on experience in a safety-sensitive environment focusing on quality and precision.

This role involves working closely with operators to ensure the integrity of used tubulars, including drilling pipes. You will participate in inspections, cleaning, and managing equipment, all while adhering to safety standards. The position requires physical agility for manual tasks in a shop setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operators with Wellhead Isolog units

• Perform magnetic particle inspections and thread assessments

• Clean and repair pipe threads thoroughly

• Drift, sort, and handle tubulars as instructed

• Engage in training to enhance skills

Requirements:

• High school education and basic English communication skills

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Preferred:
Standard first aid and H2S Alive training

• Capable of meeting physical job demands
