Position: Janitor for Clean and Safe Spaces
Location: St. John's

Join as a Janitor to ensure clean, orderly spaces within facilities. This role involves comprehensive cleaning tasks such as floor maintenance and waste disposal.

In this Custodian/Janitor position, your efforts will maintain a hygiene-focused environment for everyone, including patients and staff. You will engage in heavy cleaning duties like washing walls, windows, and floors while ensuring all areas are sanitized. Independent work alongside following supervisor direction will be key to fulfilling your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispose of trash adhering to safety protocols

• Dust and mop floors using recommended techniques

• Rearrange furniture to facilitate proper cleaning

• Sanitize surfaces and clean assigned areas thoroughly

• Wash down walls, furniture, and glass surfaces

Requirements:

• Custodial experience is an advantage

• WHMIS and BSW certifications preferred

• Strong English communication skills

• Capability to follow instructions precisely

• Physically able to complete cleaning tasks
