Job Overview

Join our team as a Public Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of public spaces. This energetic position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and the community. As a Public Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting, including our lobby, restaurant, hallways, stairwells, washrooms and amenities.

We are looking for a candidate who can work the following consistantly:

Saturdays 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Sunday 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Mondays 5:00PM - 12:30AM
Thursdays 5:00PM - 12:30AM

Please make sure this availability works for you before applying.

WHMIS Training and/or First Aid Training is an asset.
Cleaning experience is an asset, but not mandatory for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
• Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to ensure thorough sanitation.
• Follow established cleaning protocols specific to hospitality or industrial environments to meet health standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
