This full-time position within the Design and Fabrication Services Branch seeks candidates with a focus on innovation and creativity in tool-making. Your extensive recent experience with CNC and manual machining practices will be vital in solving complex technical challenges. You'll collaborate closely with a dedicated team to ensure effective production and meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC and manual equipment for prototype development
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance design and functionality
• Perform quality checks and adhere to tolerance specifications
• Support troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostics initiatives
• Maintain high safety standards throughout the production process
Requirements:
• Two years diploma in tool-making or equivalent training
• Minimum 7 years experience in precision machining
• Strong background in CAD/CAM technology
• Ability to read engineering drawings accurately
• Fabrication and welding experience required
