Position: Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician Role

Join Kraken Robotics in Mount Pearl, NL, as an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, dedicated to supporting defence applications. Enhance production quality through cross-functional collaboration and process optimization within a hands-on environment.

In this role on the New Product Introduction and Improvement team, you'll work with skilled Engineers and Technicians to streamline assembly processes and refine product designs. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance and effectiveness in producing high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development of defence-grade electro-mechanical assemblies

• Collaborate on tooling and assembly process design

• Maintain and update production documentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues on the floor

• Train team members on new processes and tools

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or relevant experience

• 2+ years in regulated manufacturing environments

• Experience with assembly of PCBs and electro-mechanical products

• Familiarity with drafting and design modification processes

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
