As a Wire Rope Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and refurbishing various wire rope slings and lifting assemblies. Familiarity with rigging equipment terminology and hands-on experience will aid in operating crucial equipment. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with industry safety standards while delivering quality products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and splice diverse lifting slings
• Operate test-bench and other relevant machinery
• Examine material strength and flexibility according to procedures
• Maintain knowledge of rigging terminology and practices
• Perform inspections per wire rope criteria
Requirements:
• Experience in manufacturing with tools is essential
• Forklift experience is highly regarded
• Must be certified in lifting gear inspection
• Must handle lifting up to 70 pounds
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
