Transform your nursing practice as a part time Infusion Services Registered Nurse with Bayshore. Specialize in administering injectable treatments and ensure top-notch patient safety.
Working alongside the Specialty Pharma Supervisor, you'll focus on monitoring patient reactions and conducting health assessments. This position fosters a strong communication line with management while emphasizing the importance of individualized patient care. Attend conferences and stay abreast of pharmacological advancements as part of your growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer specialized intravenous and oral pharmacological treatments
• Assess patient health and teach proper medication administration
• Document patient reactions and maintain accurate records
• Prepare individualized nursing care plans based on assessments
• Conduct routine nursing duties in accordance with policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
• Registration and good standing with the provincial nursing regulatory body
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification needed
• Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals is an asset
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills required
