Position: Director of Care at Extendicare Holyrood

Lead exceptional resident care as the Director of Care at Extendicare Holyrood Home in Edmonton, AB. This full-time role focuses on managing a high-performing team dedicated to quality care.

As Director of Care, you will ensure compliance with provincial regulations and meet accreditation standards while fostering an engaged care team. Your leadership will drive resident satisfaction and enhance the overall quality of life for those in our care. Experience in long-term care and strong management skills are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the resident care team with guidance and support

• Ensure all staff receive necessary training and education

• Manage the nursing department’s budget and financials

• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

• Oversee the resident assessment and personalized care planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Nursing;
Master's preferred

• Current Registered Nurse license in Alberta

• 5+ years nursing experience, with 2+ in leadership

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations

• Proven teamwork and communication skills
