This six-week travel nursing role offers a chance to impact the health of Indigenous Peoples in Canada’s remote areas. You'll take charge of initiatives such as immunization clinics and community wellness programs. Collaborating with teams, you'll work within an expanded scope of practice to apply your nursing expertise effectively. This position promises personal and professional growth as you address the community's unique health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage well-baby and well-mom health initiatives
• Deliver campaigns that promote healthy living
• Collaborate in a team to provide comprehensive services
• Use advanced nursing skills for client assessments
• Ensure the overall comfort and safety of clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with good standing license
• 3,000 hours of Public Health Nurse experience
• Ability to work in isolated communities
• Completion of mandatory training requirements
