In this pivotal role, you will lead field surveys, testing, and excavations, focusing on culturally significant sites across the province. With a focus on safety and quality, you will manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee archaeological surveys and field documentation
• Collaborate with clients and Indigenous communities
• Mentor and train junior field staff
• Manage all aspects of project implementation
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
• Field Director certification or substantial progress required
• Proven experience in leading projects essential
• Strong commitment to Indigenous partnership work
• Detail-oriented with proficient software skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory
