Education & Experience

No degree, certificate or diploma required. Will train.

Confectionery/corner store.

• Operate cash register and process payments via cash, cheques, credit/debit cards.
• Scan items and tabulate total payment for goods or services.
• Receive payments and calculate daily/shift receipts to reconcile with total sales.
• Perform suggestive selling, stock shelves, and maintain clean counter area.
• Greet customers, wrap or bag merchandise, weigh produce and bulk foods.
• Provide customer service, monitor entrances/exits and request proof of payment when necessary.
• Participate in promotional activities.
• Verify age when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.

• Basic computer and technology proficiency: electronic cash register, Interac machine, price scanner.
• Security and safety awareness.
• Bondable, must pass criminal record check.

• Rapid‑paced environment, attention to detail.
• Stand for extended periods; bend, crouch, kneel as needed.

• Shift type:
