Join The Home Depot as a Freight Team Associate, where your expertise in receiving and handling merchandise enhances customer experiences. This role involves teamwork and adherence to operational standards to ensure product availability.
In this role, you will be responsible for unloading freight, inspecting merchandise, and stocking shelves to maintain an organized store layout. Your commitment to detail and safety will be crucial as you navigate powered lift equipment and stock items accurately for customer needs. Interact with customers to understand their queries and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload and check inbound shipments for accuracy
• Stock merchandise on shelves to achieve 100% availability
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
• Communicate effectively with Freight and Fulfillment Teams
• Monitor in-stock levels and report as needed
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of receiving experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of safety practices in the workplace
• Capability to handle heavy lifting and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
