Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Location: St. John's

Dollarama is seeking a  Store Manager  for their St. John's, Newfoundland location. The Store Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the store, including leading and managing all store associates and team leaders, overseeing scheduling, monitoring inventory, enforcing merchandising standards, implementing loss prevention practices, and ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all store associates and team leaders on a daily basis

Oversee scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate receiving procedures to maintain product availability

Enforce merchandising standards and ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing

Implement loss prevention practices and manage shrink effectively

Train and develop team members to support store goals and individual growth

Ensure compliance with Dollarama's policies, health and safety requirements, and operational guidelines

Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to uphold service standards

Requirements

Previous retail management experience in a supervisory or store leadership role

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

Knowledge of retail operations including inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention

Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as required
