Position: Seasonal Associate with Horticultural Focus
Location: Conception Bay South

Become a Seasonal Associate at Hickey's Greenhouses in Kelligrews, where enthusiasm for horticulture enriches customer experiences. Provide exceptional service while caring for plants in a delightful garden center atmosphere.

In this role, you will engage with customers, assess their needs, and offer informed product recommendations. Responsibilities include maintaining plant health through various care tasks and ensuring the garden center is visually appealing. Whether you are experienced or learning, your contributions will uplift the center’s ambiance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers and advise on products

• Water, deadhead, fertilize, and transplant plants

• Keep displays organized and visually appealing

• Process sales transactions using the POS system

• Support the Garden Centre Manager with tasks

Requirements:

• Nursery or horticulture experience is a plus

• Knowledge of nursery machinery operation desired

• Customer service background preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong work ethic and collaboration skills
