Join Michaels as an Operations Manager and lead store operations to meet team KPIs. Manage inventory and foster an exceptional shopping environment for customers.
In this role at Michaels, you will oversee daily operations while supporting the Store Manager in functional execution. Your responsibilities include compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), managing inventory, and promoting visual merchandising that engages shoppers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support scheduling and execution of store workload
• Enforce adherence to SOPs and company policies
• Manage inventory and execution of merchandise operations
• Train and develop the team for optimal performance
• Serve as Manager on Duty and drive customer service excellence
Requirements:
• Retail management leadership experience required
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
• Familiarity with inventory and safety procedures
• Positive demeanor in challenging situations
• Experience in custom framing selling is a plus
