Healthcare Security Officer

The new MHAC facility in St. Johns, NL is looking for a Full-Time Security Guard dedicated to maintaining a secure environment.

Your role will involve patrolling the grounds, monitoring surveillance systems, and providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors alike. Collaboration with hospital staff and conflict resolution are crucial aspects of your position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the healthcare facility

• Operate surveillance systems and report concerns

• Manage entry points and ensure safety protocols

• Respond swiftly to emergencies and assist as needed

• Write clear reports on daily activities and incidents

Requirements:

• Certification in First Aid & CPR - Level C

• High School Diploma is essential

• Preferred background in security or law enforcement

• Valid Class 5 Driver License mandatory

• Must be fluent in English, spoken and written
