Location: Conception Bay South
Lead initiatives for survivor safety as the Program Lead at EVA BC in Vancouver.
This role offers a unique opportunity to manage projects supporting anti-violence workers and community resources.
As part of the Community Coordination team, you will play a pivotal role in addressing gender-based violence by coordinating training and collaborating with various stakeholders. Your ability to work from an anti-oppressive perspective while managing competing priorities is essential to your success in this position. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of violence prevention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct cross-sectoral projects aiding anti-violence communities
• Develop and facilitate training for community partners
• Contribute to resource development and evaluation
• Stay abreast of relevant legislation and community concerns
• Collaborate with CCSS team on policy and funding proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• 3-5 years in GBV coordination
• Experienced with community engagement and committees
• Strong understanding of GBV and survivor needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
