Position: Child and Youth Care Worker Full-Time
Location: St. John's

In this impactful position, you will care for and supervise young people in alternate care settings. Key requirements include a diploma or degree in relevant fields, experience with complex needs, and skills in crisis de-escalation.

Your role will involve creating supportive environments, teaching life skills, and collaborating with families to foster development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement structured daily routines for youth

• Facilitate social, recreational, and educational activities

• Teach life skills and emotional regulation techniques

• Collaborate with families during care

• De-escalate crisis situations effectively

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in child and youth care or social work

• Experience working with families and young people

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

• Valid Driver’s License and private vehicle for work

• Clear background checks required
