Position: Compassionate Guest Support Worker Role
Pursue a rewarding career as a Guest Support Worker in the Main Building. Provide compassionate care and support to individuals facing homelessness and mental health challenges while maintaining a respectful environment.

In this permanent full-time position, you will report to the Manager of Guest Services and work collaboratively within a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Your role involves applying trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches to ensure the well-being of all guests. Key responsibilities include addressing basic needs, de-escalating crises, and participating in continuous service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support guests by addressing their basic needs

• Build rapport using trauma-informed care strategies

• De-escalate crises to maintain a safe environment

• Collaborate with internal teams for care continuity

• Maintain accurate documentation and service notes

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields

• Experience in community support or shelters

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with diverse populations

• Clear Record of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check
