In this role at MOMENTUM, you will foster an environment that promotes independence and safety among residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will ensure they receive support in daily activities and make informed health choices. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents in maintaining healthy lifestyles
• Implement crisis intervention techniques as needed
• Plan and facilitate daily living activities
• Keep their environment secure and clean
• Aid residents with personal hygiene and care tasks
Requirements:
• 2 years post-secondary education or relevant experience
• 2 years experience in a similar support role
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Clear Record of Conduct
• Commitment to ongoing learning and competencies
