As a Residential Counsellor with Stella’s Circle, you will provide crucial support to young women aged 18-29 seeking temporary housing and outreach services. Your hands-on guidance will help them make informed choices, enhancing their emotional well-being and overall stability. By working collaboratively with a dedicated staff team, you will ensure an empowering environment for the residents at Naomi Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Orient new residents to the facility

• Provide supportive counselling and life skills training

• Resolve communal living issues using conflict resolution techniques

• Assist with daily living tasks and housing searches

• Maintain accurate documentation and shift logs

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Services or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of mental health and harm reduction

• Experience in a residential or supportive environment

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure with interruptions
