Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Mule Soft Developer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity based in Canada. The ideal candidate will possess hands‑on experience with Mule Soft development and integration and a strong understanding of API‑led connectivity principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of integration flows using Mule Soft Anypoint Studio
, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. - API Development: Support API creation, deployment, and testing processes under the guidance of senior developers, aligning with organizational requirements and technical standards.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand and interpret integration requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks.
- Data Transformation: Utilize Data Weave to perform basic data mapping and transformation, adhering to established integration specifications and requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit tests for Mule Soft applications and actively participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and practices.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving issues, including debugging and performance optimization of Mule Soft applications.
- Best Practices: Follow industry best practices for API‑led connectivity, CI/CD pipelines, and security standards to deliver optimized and secure integration solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Mule Soft development, including hands‑on experience with Anypoint Studio and Mule Soft components such as connectors, APIs, and message queues.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Data Weave for data transformation, JSON, XML, and web services (SOAP and REST). - Knowledge: Familiarity with API management platforms, integration frameworks, and CI/CD tools.
- Collaboration
Skills:
Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams, including business stakeholders and senior developers, to meet project goals. - Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical ability and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mule Soft certification (e.g.,
MCD – Mule Soft Certified Developer or equivalent). - Experience working with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
