In this senior role, you will play a critical part in our software team dedicated to Towed Systems. You will design and maintain firmware for embedded systems, ensuring communication protocols and reliability in extreme marine conditions. Your expertise in embedded firmware will help our mission in ocean innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers
• Optimize firmware for real-time navigation and telemetry
• Implement communication protocols for sub-sea environments
• Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing and diagnostics
• Create firmware design documentation and user manuals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related
• 7+ years in embedded firmware development with C++
• Familiarity with Git, Python, and Agile practices
• Experience in subsea systems or oceanographic instrumentation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
