In this Level 2 role, you will contribute to Kraken’s KATFISH™ system by developing and maintaining critical firmware components. Your expertise in C++ and experience with hardware mediums like DMA and UART will be paramount. Engage in code reviews, architecture discussions, and utilize cutting-edge tools to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop low-level firmware for Kraken robotics products

• Optimize drivers for peripherals including DMA and I²C

• Write efficient and reliable C++ code in resource-constrained settings

• Collaborate with Electrical and Systems Engineering teams

• Create detailed documentation for firmware functionalities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial firmware development

• Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering

• Hands-on experience with Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers

• Proficiency in CMake and version control systems

• Solid debugging skills with JTAG and oscilloscopes
