Description
We have an immediate opening for a dock worker at our St. John's, Newfoundland Terminal.- Must have forklift experience
- Order picking experience is an asset
- Physical Labour is a requirement
Job entails:
- Forklift operations, to handle the freight/ pallets with care for receiving, storage & shipping.
- Work with heavy items & be able to lift upto 50 lbs.
- Technology friendly, to use RF scanners, WMS system & Microsoft office when needed (Training will be provided).
- Attention to details is utmost important while picking orders for customer based on their requirements.
- Handling multiple SKUs & customer orders at times for Inbound/ outbound loads.
- Working closely with Logistics Coordinator & Warehouse Supervisor to meet customer demands and everyday challenges.

- Reliable Transportation – must be living in the area
- Valid license & previous work experience operating Single-Pallet Walkie
- Experience Order Picking with a voice-activated headset is an asset
- Ability to use scanners, paperwork where required
- Ability to work Safely in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to complete online safety courses as required
- Physically demanding, heavy lifting is a requirement
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions: possible high noise levels, warm or cold environment dependent on weather
- Safety boots/shoes
- Clean criminal background
