Location: Mount Pearl
Support a vital cause as a Truck Driver at National Diabetes Trust. This part-time role offers a competitive wage of $19 per hour plus a signing bonus of $750.
As a Charity Donations Pickup Driver, you will drive up to 29 hours per week, ensuring timely collection and delivery of donated items. Your efforts help divert millions of pounds from landfills, directly benefiting Diabetes Canada. You will also enhance your public relations skills while working with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a 3-ton truck on assigned routes
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and daily logs
• Load and unload donated items as required
• Check in frequently with dispatch
• Represent NDT positively in community interactions
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
• Valid Class 5 license required
• 5 years driving experience with no violations
• Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to handle physical loads
