Become a Dock Worker at Manitoulin Transport and enhance your logistics skills. This part-time role focuses on freight handling with an emphasis on accuracy and safety protocols.
As a Dock Worker, you will unload and load trailers, ensuring all materials are marked and recorded accurately. Your daily efforts will contribute to maintaining a safe warehouse environment while optimizing trailer space. Typical working hours are from 16:30 to 20:30, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently unload and load freight from trailers
• Mark materials for identification and tracking
• Record and manage incoming and outgoing items
• Ensure conformance to shipping documentation
• Participate in warehouse maintenance and safety
Requirements:
• WHMIS/Dangerous Goods Certificate training available
• Must be able to lift heavy items regularly
• Strong decision-making and multitasking capabilities
• Basic computer skills required
• Eagerness to learn about warehouse operations
