Shipping and Receiving Specialist - CAF

Location: St. John's

Enhance the welfare of troops as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator with the Canadian Armed Forces in Latvia. Engage in a six-month deployment coordinating vital operations.

This role demands effective management of shipping and receiving processes, essential for supporting CAF and allied forces. Experience in inventory control and logistics is necessary, as well as the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders. Responsibilities focus on maintaining organized storage and executing loss prevention measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, ship, and document all merchandise accurately

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas

• Coordinate efficient inventory handling

• Prepare accurate inventory reports and address discrepancies

• Support recreational initiatives for deployed staff

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification

• Canadian citizenship and a valid passport

• Hands-on experience in logistics and coordination

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Physical capability to manage heavy lifting
