Responsibilities   Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
Provide professional customer service and receive/relay information to central dispatch.
Keep accurate record of items received and delivered.
Transport and handle dangerous goods.
Load and unload goods.
Follow directions and read maps.
Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems.
Provide customer service throughout transportation/travel.
Qualifications & Requirements   Valid driver's licence.
Transportation/travel experience.
Background check and driving record (abstract) required.
Local security and safety knowledge.
Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.
Physically capable of handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg / 100 lbs). Own tools/equipment such as steel‑toed safety boots, cellular phone, gloves.
Excellent oral communication, punctuality, reliability.
Team player with efficient interpersonal skills, organization, judgment, and accuracy.
Work Conditions   On the road; physically demanding.
Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Fast-paced setting with tight deadlines and pressure.
