Qualifications Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work well with others
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experiences with physically and mentally challenged persons.
Ability to document safety issues and incidents.
CDL with P and S endorsements recommended, but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the boarding and de-boarding of students.
Attend to the needs of students based on their IEP.
Assist the driver by maintaining student discipline as approved by the Transportation Director.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with bus driver.
Demonstrate knowledge of rules and regulations promulgated by local, state, and federal agencies.
Be alert and exercise good judgment concerning emergencies and day-to-day operations.
Keep accurate records and reports as required, submit in a legible condition, and turn in at the specified time.
Conduct yourself as a professional Transportation staff member at all times.
Secure all equipment that is required for each passenger.
Be able to lift, store, and disassemble/assemble equipment required by the passenger.
Salary & Benefits As per the FRESPA contract, starting rate is $16.03/hour
