Position: Dock Worker Role with Armour Transportation
Location: St. John's

Armour Transportation Systems is looking for a reliable Dock Worker in St John’s, NL. This Monday to Friday role focuses on the effective handling and movement of freight.

As a Dock Worker, you will ensure safe loading and unloading of freight, while also sorting and organizing shipments. Operation of forklifts and pallet jacks, along with maintaining safety protocols, will be key parts of your responsibilities. Your ability to work in a physically demanding environment will support our team’s success and on-time operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload freight from trailers

• Sort and stage shipments in the dock area

• Operate scanners for tracking shipments

• Use forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary

• Verify shipment details and report issues

Requirements:

• Forklift certification is helpful, or willingness to obtain

• Own transportation to navigate multiple buildings

• Must handle heavy lifting routinely

• Ability to adapt to varying warehouse conditions

• Clean criminal background required
