Charitable Donations Truck Driver

Drive for change with National Diabetes Trust as a full-time Charitable Donations Driver. Collect donations efficiently while promoting our mission and ensuring safety on the road.
This full-time role requires driving a 3-Ton truck to pick up donations from homes and bins, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You’ll contribute to environmental efforts by diverting items from landfills while representing our organization positively during pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive established routes to collect donations securely

• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Complete daily paperwork including Hours-of-Service logs

• Check in with dispatch during routes

• Provide message cards to donors as needed
Requirements:

• Full Class 5 license with clean driver abstract

• Minimum 5 years driving experience required

• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs.

• Strong organizational skills for efficient route mapping

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
