NDT Charitable Pickup Driver

Location: Mount Pearl
Become a Charitable Pickup Driver for National Diabetes Trust, supporting vital community services with a signing bonus. Drive part-time while promoting environmental care through clothing donations.
This role involves driving established routes to collect donations from homes and bins, clocking up to 29 hours a week. You will manage vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will directly affect the funds raised for Diabetes Canada’s programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive routes safely for donation collections
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Log necessary trip and service information
• Communicate with dispatch for effective route management
• Provide appreciation cards to donors with pickups
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years driving experience required
• Clean driver’s abstract, no violations within 3 years
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license or higher
• Strong customer service and mapping skills
