Labrador Student Transportation Manager

Location: St. John's

Lead the safe transportation of students in the Labrador Region as the Manager of Student Transportation. Oversee bus fleets, ensure compliance, and supervise a dedicated team of transportation professionals.

In this permanent, full-time role based at the Labrador Regional Office, you will manage 50 bus routes and a fleet of 40 buses for 21 schools. This position requires overseeing maintenance, operational compliance with regulations, and fleet management. Your leadership will ensure quality service delivery and adherence to government policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the safety and efficiency of 50 bus routes

• Oversee a fleet of 40 government-owned buses

• Ensure compliance with government transportation policies

• Provide expert advice on transportation issues to stakeholders

• Investigate incidents and develop solutions to problems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field

• Minimum five years supervisory experience in a unionized environment

• Knowledge of transportation systems and fleet management

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
