Manage student transportation operations with expertise as the Manager for the Labrador Region. Ensure efficient bus routes and compliance with safety standards for region’s schools.

This permanent position at the Labrador Regional Office focuses on overseeing safe transit for students attending 21 schools. You will be responsible for 50 bus routes and maintaining a fleet of 40 buses, while ensuring adherence to OH&S regulations.

Your role includes direct management of staff across various transportation roles, fostering a safe environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient transportation of students to 21 schools

• Manage bus fleet maintenance and service quality

• Ensure compliance with OH&S and public procurement regulations

• Supervise and train staff including drivers and mechanics

• Innovate strategies for effective transportation solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications

• At least five years experience in supervisory roles

• Comprehensive understanding of transportation systems

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

• Must hold a valid driver's license
