Class 5 Driver for Charitable Pickup

Drive meaningful change with the National Diabetes Trust as a Class 5 Donation Pickup Truck Driver. Collect and deliver donated goods while contributing to essential charitable programs across Canada.
This part-time role requires you to operate a 3-Ton truck, managing routes for collection from customers and donation bins. You are an integral part of a team that helps divert items from landfills while supporting Diabetes Canada. Strong customer service skills and a proven driving record are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive established routes to collect donated items
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
• Check in with dispatch regularly during your route
• Complete pick up logs and associated paperwork daily
• Provide thank you message cards to donors
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or G driver's license with clean driving record
• Minimum 5 years driving experience, or 2 with professional training
• Ability to handle loads of 10-50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills for route mapping
• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
