AIM Class 1 Driver Position Available

Location: St. John's

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is hiring a Class 1 Driver in St John's, Newfoundland! In this full-time role, you’ll play a crucial part in the delivery and transport of metal products safely.

The successful applicant will be responsible for picking up and delivering materials to commercial clients while ensuring that all safety regulations are met. You will conduct daily inspections, keep trucks clean, and secure loads effectively.

Your role is essential in maintaining AIM’s reputation as an industry leader in metal recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver materials to clients and sites

• Secure and tarp loads as necessary

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and working condition

• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles

• Keep delivery reports up to date

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Class 1 licence

• Clean drivers abstract with a minimum of two years' experience

• Knowledge of driving regulations is essential

• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks

• Familiarity with regional routes and roads
