Dock Worker / Forklift Operator – Evening Shift
Integrated Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker / Forklift Operator to join a busy transportation and logistics operation.
Position Details

Position: Dock Worker / Forklift Operator

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Pay: $20.00/hour + 4% vacation pay

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location:Mount Pearl:
Not accessible by public transit — reliable personal transportation is required

Job Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move freight weighing approximately 50–75 lbs

Safely operate a forklift in busy and congested dock areas

Receive and ship freight accurately and on schedule

Organize freight for city and line-haul trailers

Handle freight carefully to prevent damage

Follow all TDG, WHMIS, and company safety procedures

Complete basic administrative tasks related to shipments

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Assist with other warehouse and dock duties as required

Work Environment

Fast-paced, high-traffic transportation dock

Regular interaction with forklifts, trucks, drivers, and warehouse staff

Exposure to noise, chemicals, and dangerous goods

Physically demanding environment requiring frequent lifting and movement

Physical Requirements

Ability to repeatedly lift and move 50–75 lbs

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Comfortable working around and operating powered equipment

Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy dock environment

Requirements

Valid Forklift Certification

WHMIS Certification required

TDG Certification required or considered an asset

Steel-toe safety boots —
mandatory

Reliable personal transportation —
mandatory

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Criminal Record Check required prior to employment

Safety & PPE
Safety is a priority in this position. All employees are expected to:

Wear required PPE at all times

Follow company safety policies and procedures

Work safely around forklifts, trucks, and other moving equipment

Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area

PPE: High-visibility vest provided. Steel-toe boots are the responsibility of the employee.
