Air Canada seeks a Ramp Operations Agent in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, where teamwork and safe aircraft loading support punctual flights.
This full-time, on-site airport position requires no prior experience. You will work with team members on baggage, connecting passenger luggage, ramp tasks, safety, and aircraft loading and unloading. Paid training prepares you for the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload aircraft efficiently and safely
- Handle baggage and connecting passenger luggage
- Perform essential ramp operations tasks
- Collaborate with team members during daily operations
- Support punctual flight departures and arrivals
- Hold a valid driver's license for heavy airside equipment
- Repeatedly lift loads weighing 32 kilograms
- Complete paid five to seven week training
- Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Pass medical, drug, alcohol, and security requirements
