• Maintains recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing, and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Leads day‑to‑day operational workflow, including staffing, monitoring performance, staff education, and inventory control.
• Manages sterile processing information database and implements Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement initiatives for the department.
• Acts as liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital.

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) – required.
• Work Experience: 1 year in Central Service Processing, Operating Room Procedural Support Technician, or Surgical Tech – required. 2 years preferred.
