Charge Nurse – Med Surg, Post Surgical, Days

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Charge Nurse – Med Surg, Post Surgical, Days to coordinate nursing care and lead the team during shifts.

Location:

Atlanta, GA. Salary: $60,000 – $100,000 per year.

• Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Address operational issues during shifts.
• Provide clinical care as needed based on census demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leaders.
• Serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff.

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred:
  Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred:
  Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
