Charge Nurse - Med Surg, Telemetry, Days
Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 available.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during the shift.
- Provide clinical care as needed when census demands.
- Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
- Serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
- Graduate of a nursing program (minimum education).
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required.
- Preferred: two or more years nursing experience in a hospital setting, Bachelor’s degree, advanced certification in specialty field, demonstrated clinical competency.
