Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery / Obstetric Emergency Department

Stockbridge, GA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide direct patient care in an Obstetric Emergency Department setting, serving a patient population ranging from neonates to adults
• Perform vaginal exams autonomously as required within the Obstetric ED environment
• Fulfill circulate and triage responsibilities within the unit
• Float within the service line to Labor and Delivery, Antepartum Unit, and OR as needed
• Fulfill one 12-hour on-call shift per schedule period
• Maintain no more than three call-outs during a 13-week contract period

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience; first-time travelers considered with at least 3 years of L&D experience outside of a teaching facility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proficiency in Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

• Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery or Obstetric Emergency setting
• Familiarity with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio environment and census management
• Prior experience floating across L&D, Antepartum, and OR within the same service line

• Scrubs are provided by the facility, reducing out-of-pocket costs for travelers
