American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of experience and GA or compact RN licensure.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit setting
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call requirement of one 12-hour shift per schedule
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (AWHONN Intermediate preferred)
- Experience in Labor and Delivery management required
- Experience circulating for C-sections required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this unit
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including circulating for C-sections
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
- Full compliance required prior to start date to avoid scheduling delays
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Previous permanent, PRN, or internal staff must be away from all facility locations for one full year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers who were cancelled or deemed unable to return must complete one assignment at another facility before reapplying
