Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Oncology Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling with every other weekend required; patient ratios of 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights and weekends; 16-bed unit; orientation provided; no call required

Highlights:

• Oncology and surgical trauma unit primarily serving post-surgical patients with occasional stroke overflow
• Comprehensive skill set including wound care, TPN/PPN management, NG tubes, CBI, PICC lines, ports, and pain management
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Adult to geriatric patient population with 16-bed census
• Floating within facility scope of practice as needed; contract length determines orientation hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Full compliance required prior to start date; incomplete compliance results in two-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission (maximum 7 days per contract)
