American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and GA or Compact RN licensure.
Requirements- Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
- Skilled in Labor and Delivery management
- Experience circulating for C-sections required
- First-time travelers considered
- Labor & Delivery unit setting
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call commitment of one 12-hour shift per schedule
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Responsibilities include labor and delivery patient management and circulating for C-sections
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized at time of submission
- No RTO requests permitted during orientation week
- Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
- Shift and schedule are firm with no alternate requests permitted
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Previous Piedmont employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers previously cancelled or deemed ineligible to return to a Piedmont facility must complete one successful assignment elsewhere before reapplying
- Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
